Unfortunately, the value of your day ticket would not be eligible to use against your membership. You can still become a Zoo Friend by clicking .
Yes you can. Once you have redeemed and used your day ticket you can head to the Zoo Friends office at Taronga Zoo Sydney and they can upgrade this for you there.

All paid General Admission ticket types are eligible to be upgraded, exclusions include tickets purchased through special discounts and offers.
You sure can! You can upgrade on the day at the Zoo Friends office on your way out. Or if you've already left for the day you can bring your Admission ticket receipt with you and pop into our Zoo Friends office at the Main Entrance within 31 days of your visit.
